The most useful item has to be our Wi-fi router, after quite a few dramas and let downs with previous brands we decided to pay a bit more and bought the NETGEAR Nighthawk M2 Mobile 4G Router with Sim Slot Unlocked MR2100.
Alongside that we got an EE sim card with unlimited data for around £28 per month and we can honestly say, it’s been brilliant. I work from the van and when Matt is home from his day job, he’s usually working on our YouTube channel so relies on a fast upload speed. We just can’t fault the combo!
I am a little bit of a stickler when it comes to lighting, it’s crazy how it becomes such an important thought when you live in a small space. Fairy lights are a no brainer as they are just SO cosy at night, but I have also loved our chargeable portable LED lights that give off a delightful ambient glow which is again, perfect for evenings snuggling in the van.
The bed is also hugely important when it comes to travelling and living in the van. We were lucky enough to be gifted our amazing Snug duvet and pillows and cannot rate the brand enough for comfort.
We went for a king size duvet even though our mattress is a double as there’s something so cosy about snuggling up in a big duvet, oh, and of course not arguing over who is hogging it! Snug is an eco friendly brand as the products are filled with recycled materials which are then packed into carbon negative packaging, so you’re winning all round on the comfort AND sustainability front.
