When it comes to pubs, London really excels. There is literally one on every corner and you’ll more than likely find them oozing with character.
Our love for an English pub somewhat heightened whilst living away, so we get a bit over excited whenever walking past a classic London boozer. We’re currently residing in the leafy London borough of Ealing, so feel it only right to shout about the best pubs here.
Ealing has a lot to offer. Firsty, it’s on the central and district lines so very well connected. It also has a myriad of coffee shops, independent and chain restaurants as well as a shopping mall. There are plenty of green areas too, making it great for family life.
The best pubs in Ealing including ealing common
We love a roast dinner accompanied by a glass of Malbec or a Sunday session with friends in a welcoming beer garden. We also love have a good local. One that we can pop in for a drink after work. Or enjoy a night away from the kitchen knowing you’ll get served up a hearty, yummy dish. Pub perks shall we call them? Well, if you’re from, visiting or moving to Ealing then you’re in for some British pub treats as there is an abundance to choose from.
A mix of old and new, The North Star is a contemporary pub with plenty of modern touches. They have an amazing beer garden, sharing boards to delight and a desirable cocktail menu. Set in the heart of Ealing Broadway, this is a one local pub you shouldn’t miss.
Known for it’s Sunday roast dinners, weekly pub quizzes and its sourcing of the freshest british product, The Grange is an all-round winner. It boasts one of Ealings best beer gardens and has some seriously stylish decor to boot. This majestic pub is set on the corner of Ealing Common and is the perfect spot to while away a Sunday afternoon.
Another Ealing pub with an epic beer garden, The Duke of Kent also serves up drinks in its very cool Garden Bar throughout the summer. It’s friendly service and delicious beer options make it a very good choice of pub for Saturday nights out, events or a mid-week jaunt.
With their Al fresco dining, outdoor terrace and fully serviced restaurant, The Grove is all about the dinning experience. They have a few awards under their belts too. Featured in The Campaign for Real Ale’s ‘Camra Good Beer Guide 2018’ and with ‘AA Rosette for Culinary Excellence’ for 2018, you know you’re in good hands.
This is the pub you can see in the pictures below and we love that it’s off the main road. In fact, The Kings Arms is known as a hidden gem in Ealing. They have a function room, weekly events and even accomodation. So if you’re from out of town it could make a great weekend base to set off exploring from.
