Did you know that there was shopping on offer at the O2? Nope, neither did we. Enter, ICON Outlet at the O2. this shopping outlet is home to some huge brands and we were excited to check it out.
The newish (it opened in late 2018) ICON Outlet at the O2 is a slick customer experience where the focus seems to be on fashion brands. It actually boosts your O2 visit as you can shop, eat and see your favourite artist all in one place.
We headed down there on a Saturday evening where it was alive with people attending that night’s gig. After weaving through the crowds we fuelled up with yummy veggie burgers in the Slug and Lettuce – always an easy and tasty dinner decision.
The ICON Outlet is to the left as you enter the O2, you won’t be able to miss the rather swanky stiarcase that leads you up to the shops. Oh, and the arrary of glitter balls that decorate the ceiling on your arrival too.
What brands are there?
You won’t find the likes of H&M or New Look there but you will find some lovely brands. Whether you’re after a fashion fix, some new stationary or discounted make-up, you’ll find it. Matt veered off into Levi whilst I made a beeline for Scotch & Soda and Kurt Geiger. There was plenty to keep us both entertained!
The Cosmetic Company Store is definately worth checking out, as you’ll find Estee Lauder, MAC and Bobbi Brown all at amazing prices. We also popped into The Body Shop, here it was on a ‘the more you buy the more you save’ basis.
When does the ICON Outlet at the O2 close?
The opening times are what sets it apart. Weekdays it is open until 8pm, Friday and Saturday is 10pm and Sunday, is 6pm. Perfect for an after-work shop or a pre-show/gig shopping fix.
Where is ICON Outlet at the O2?
The stop for the O2 is North Greenwich which you’ll find on the Jubilee line. As soon as you’re off the tube it’s extremely well sign-posted and you’ll walk straight into all the action.
We made the most of the late opening and watched the sun set over Canary Wharf, following our shop. It was a short stroll from all the hustle and bustle, and part of the Thames Walk. As the sun went down, Canary Wharf lit up and we took the opportunity to shoot some nightime photography.

We have been living back in London for 6 weeks now and love how this ever-changing city just gets better and better. When we left, the ICON Outlet at the O2 wasn’t there, so it was awesome to go along and check out this new shopping experience.
